These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chyi Xiang ("we", "us", "our", or "Developer") regarding your use of the Lumi mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Some content within the App, such as certain quotes or affirmations, may be sourced from the public domain or third parties. We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content infringes on your rights, please contact us.

7.3 Your User Content

You own the custom affirmations and content you create. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

7.4 Trademark Restrictions

"Lumi" and our logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

Lumi is NOT a medical tool. The content provided, including affirmations and mood tracking, is for self-improvement and entertainment only. It is not professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

8.3 Crisis Situations

If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately (e.g., 911 in the US). Lumi is not designed to assist in emergencies.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (AND SUBJECT TO ANY MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS IN YOUR JURISDICTION), THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated agreement. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the App.

13. Termination of Use

13.1 User Termination

You can stop using Lumi at any time by deleting the App from your device. Please note that deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must manually cancel it through your Apple ID settings to avoid future charges.

13.2 Developer Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately and without notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to us or other users.

13.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you by these Terms will instantly cease. You must stop all use of the App and delete it from your devices. Provisions regarding ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability will survive termination.

14. Geographic Restrictions

Lumi is operated from our location and we make no claims that it is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions. If you access the App from outside our home jurisdiction, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
